| Gray Glass also
known as smoked glass
and Bronze Glass are
the two most common
tints available. Other
names include Graylite,
Ford Blue, Low E,
Solex and Azurlite,
but there are many
more. Most tinted
glass is only available
in 1/4" thickness,
therefore, it is mostly
limited to use as
windows but will also
work as glass protector
tops.
Bronze glass is brown
colored. It is available
in 1/8" to 1/2".
The thicker the glass
the darker the tint.
Gray glass, as the
name implies, is gray
color. Everything
about Bronze glass
is true for gray glass,
just the color is
different. Because
Bronze and Gray are
available in 1/2",
they are often used
as glass table tops.
There are only a
few other 3/8"
tints available for
use as table tops:
Solex is a green/blue
color; Blue or Azurlite
is, of course, blue.
There are other less
common colors available.
If you give us a name
we will let you know
if it is available.
Graylite 14 is the
darkest tinted glass
we have but it is
only available in
1/4" thickness.
Graylite 14 may be
considered black glass
but it is still transparent.
Black Spandrel or
White Spandrel is
available in 1/4"-3/4".
It is not transparent
and it is not tinted
glass. It is made
by baking color on
to one side of the
glass. That will make
it look like black
or white glass.
